Meet the Woodland Creatures from L.L.Bean’s Popular Pinterest Board

Ever see a bear sitting at a picnic table waiting for lunch, or a mouse giving a flower to another mouse? No? Then you’re in for a treat when you visit L.L.Bean’s most popular board on Pinterest: “Woodland Creatures.”

Two of our recent pins

With over 4.5 million followers, our Woodland Creatures board has been a hit with the online community. Some of our most popular pins feature animals in love, creatures making extraordinary use of ordinary things and adorable wild pups.

Now, some readers may be wondering “what’s Pinterest?”

Picture a corkboard on your bedroom wall, filled with pictures of all the things you love or aspire to –that’s Pinterest. It’s a visual bookmarking tool that in the last year has become a much-loved Website by our friends and fans. And we love Pinterest, too!

Wondering why? For starters, Pinterest allows us to collect and organize some of the great photos our fans submit, along with many of the awe-inspiring images we come across in our day-to-day work. Our Woodland Creatures board is a home for both.

For example, here are a few snapshots of “Bambi” and friends.

We also love creatures that are all dressed up.

This one was submitted by an L.L.Bean fan. We call it “looking for trail mix.”

Of course, we adore the babies of the bunch.

And let’s not forget this wise guy.

Last but not least, we’re ready to debut the newest member of our Woodland Creatures crew, a shopping bunny.

If Woodland Creatures aren’t your thing, why not check out our “Bean Boot Style” board or the “Take Me Fishing” board? We feature everything from glamour shots to glimpses of peaceful nature escapes.
