Family Fun Day at Acadia National Park

You’re invited to the 6th annual Family Fun Day at Acadia National Park, Sunday, July 15, 2-5 pm. One of Maine’s treasures and the first national park east of the Mississippi River, Acadia National Park offers more than 120 miles of hiking trails. It’s home to the tallest mountain on the Atlantic coastline, Cadillac Mountain, which also boasts the first spot in the US to greet the sun’s rays each morning during the fall and winter.

A perfect complement to our Million Moment Mission, Family Fun Day is a field day designed by park rangers and Friends of Acadia to help kids connect with nature and develop a sense of stewardship for the outdoors. Experts from L.L.Bean’s Outdoor Discovery Schools will be on hand to assist with fun activities ranging from rock climbing, pony rides, nature yoga, hiking and more.

Families will also enjoy L.L.Bean’s Bootmobile, which will be parked at Jackson Laboratory for photo opportunities and more L.L.Bean fun.
