It’s been four months since we announced the Million Moment Mission – our mission to donate $1 million to the National Park Foundation, and we wanted to give you an update on our progress so far.
As of this month, 291,561 moments have already been shared. That’s $291,561 for the National Park Foundation – over 29% of our total goal!
Because you’ve taken the time to share your moments and memories with us, we wanted to highlight some of our favorites below:
Our L.L.Bean and L.L.Bean Signature Facebook fans have contributed over $101,000 toward helping future generations experience the outdoors just as they have:

The Discover Something Playlist on L.L.Bean’s YouTube channel has helped raise $2,375 for our mission, with over 2,375 video views since launch!
In addition to your comments on Facebook and video views on YouTube, your tweets on Twitter, check-ins on Foursquare, circles on Google+ and participation in our Outdoor Discovery Schools programs raised more than $53,775 for the National Park Foundation.
You can help keep the momentum going by commenting below to contribute $1 to our Million Moment Mission. We look forward to sharing the next seven months of moments!

Snow inspires me in the winter; warm air and sun in the summer; colorful leaves in the fall and wildflowers in the spring. Love the outdoors!

To feel God’s touch in all that I see. To take my Lab outside to just watch him sniff and enjoy the smells. The peace and “rightness” of nature!
