Discover Something with Ashlyn

What have you discovered in the great outdoors lately? That’s the question we’re asking as L.L.Bean launches the Discover Something campaign in celebration of our 100th anniversary. We encourage you to get outside today and explore nature with a renewed outlook, and we’d love to hear what you discover.

For inspiration, we invite you to be the first to see Ashlyn’s video. As she hikes the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains, Ashlyn shares how she found inspiration in her parents’ outdoor adventure stories.

Like Ashlyn, do you have an outdoor experience you particularly enjoy? Tell us about it through our Get Out(fitted) Gear Giveaway, and you could win the gear you need for your next adventure.

As always, we want to hear about what you’ve been up to lately. We’ll donate $1 to our Million Moment Mission when you share your recent discoveries in the comments below.

How awesome that Ashlyn’s parents shared their memories with her and she has been able to experience it for herself. Her video shows such beautiful landscape – it makes me want to travel there and see it all in person.

I like to hike in remote areas in the ozarks, after a couple of days of heavy rain. We have a lot of water falls that apere out of nowhere.
