Warning: This blog post might make your mouth water!
What do you get when you combine award-winning old-fashioned vanilla ice cream, rich chocolate brownie bites and a swirl of sweet caramel? A one-of-a-kind adventure in ice cream created just for us – Muddy Bean Boots.
L.L.Bean partnered with Gifford’s Ice Cream, a family-owned Maine company, to create this special-edition flavor in honor of L.L.Bean’s 100th anniversary celebration. Gifford’s only works with local farms and dairies to craft their flavors, and though just one spoonful speaks for itself, industry awards say even more. In the past seven years, Gifford’s has won World’s Best for its Chocolate, French Vanilla, and Old Fashioned Vanilla ice creams as well as Grade A & Ice Cream Grand Champion at the World Dairy Expo, the industry’s most important competition.

Muddy Bean Boots will be available for purchase at Gifford’s Ice Cream’s five family-owned stands throughout Maine beginning March 16 and at 1,500 independent stands, restaurants, colleges, universities, hospitals and hotels throughout New England; New York; New Jersey; Maryland; Washington, DC; and Virginia.
